Bio
I've always believed, “If you love it, you will live it,” and for me, there has never been another way. My entire life has been lived in the pursuit of dreams, goals and joys. I have jumped from waterfalls, swam with dolphins, and traveled around the globe. I have never been afraid to follow my artistic and personal passions, which has given me a unique perspective, and greater depth in all areas of my life.
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon surrounded by a house full of artists. I left home, excited to find my niche, and experimented with different disciplines, including portraiture, film, modeling, and acting. After gaining insight and experience in the world, I returned home to explore my true artistic calling: photography. I have photographed from China to Colorado, Alaska to Italy. The true distinguishing mark of my work is my ability to capture a moment, replete with emotion, clarity and “color”.
My other passions include my family, travel, outdoor recreation of any kind, time with friends and enjoying new experiences. My loving and creative parents are preparing to pursue a passion of their own, and are getting ready to move to Denmark for 18 months. My seven siblings all live in the Portland-Metro area, gathering en masse at least once a month, most raising families of their own. I am the wife of my high school sweetheart and mother to a beautiful, redheaded toddler who seems to take after me in spirit and energy.
